The Wilt Family

WoW!! I can't believe that I have not updated this blog since 6 days before Rylei was born! A quick update, Rylei Addison Wilt was born at 6:04am at Terre Haute Regional Hospital on January 27, 2009. She was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 20 inches long. Now, at 15 months old, she weighs a whopping 26 lbs or so! I can't believe how fast that first year goes, and I'm sure the others following will go just as quickly. Kevin & I are expecting our newest addition on October 12, 2010. I am about 17 weeks right now, and we should find out the sex in 2 or 3 weeks:) can't wait! i can't believe how fast I am showing with this one, but then again I guess this balloon was only fully expanded a year ago! haha..sometimes I ask kevin, what WERE we thinking? hahah..but every child is a gift from the Lord, and he knows what he is doing:) Well, I will write more later, but I only have a short time. Just wanted to update since it has been forever and I've been a slacker:) I have a messy house to tend to and a 1 year old smashing potato chips into the carpet. Oh the life of a housewife:) God Bless.

It won't be long people!!! When I went to the doctor on Wednesday he said I am now 2 cm dilated! Also, I apparently lost my plug at some point and my cervix is thinned! He said she is all lined up and ready to go! Also, he said if I haven't had her by this coming Wednesday then we will set a date to induce!! i know this isn't a long post but I don't have much time..just wanted to give everyone the exciting update!

I have news everyone! finally! haha:) I went to see Dr. Drake for my weekly appt last monday and he said I was doing great! He also checked me and gave me the BIG news that I was one WHOPPING centimeter dilated! I felt so proud of myself! haha:) just kidding! i had a bunch of pain the night before and knew something was happening but also knew i wasn't in active labor yet..I didn't sleep a whole lot and haven't really slept since haha. Ive had that annoying pain pretty much every night and sometimes during the day as well! it comes and goes..and my belly gets really tight. i know now that those are contractions..but they aren't close enough together to go to the hospital yet. Dr. Drake doesn't want me to go to the hospital until my water breaks, or my contractions are 5 or 6 minutes apart! whichever comes first:) i'm so ready to hold our little girl:) kevin is as well! he seems to think i'll have her this coming week. I will be 38 weeks so I would feel safe at this point! i tried to bribe dr drake into inducing me now..i said he would have a better chance of watching the superbowl!!!!! haha..that was a big fat negative~! haha! well anyway, i just wanted to update everyone! i go back to the dr on wed. this coming week because they couldn't get me in on monday..hopefully next time i write i will have a baby! haha:)

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a blessed and merry Christmas! Christmas was wonderful in our household. Kevin's sisters, Kristie & Holly, and their families came up to visit this past weekend and to celebrate Christmas with us! We had SO much fun. I love when they come into town! They are always such a good time! haha:) They won't stay gone long this time though! Kristie and Holly are planning on coming back up when Rylei decides to come into the world~! Whenever that may be! haha:) I went to the doctor today and he told me I lost 2 more pounds! I told him I just don't understand! I am NOT dieting at ALL and i am definitly not exercising! haha! I'm too out of breath for that! lol:) But he also checked me today and said he could feel her head! How exciting is that?? Kevin and I got all excited haha! I'm not exactly sure what that means, but next week when I go back I will ask if I am dilated at all! I supposedly have 4 weeks left until my due date! But everyone here at work seems to think I'll have her in a couple weeks:) Mark Walker, a friend of the family, came into the hospital tonight to visit a coworker and he told me that if I haven't had her in two weeks to give him a call and he will come over and do some foot reflexology on my heels and he said that will get things started. I kinda laughed and he said he has done it twice and both times the woman went into labor within a couple days! So i have decided to take him up on that! haha:) The baby shower was on January 3rd, this past Saturday, and it was SO much fun! It was beautiful too!! I think everyone had a good time:) It sure was crowded! haha:) Rylei has soooo many clothes now!!...She will be a very well dressed little girl haha! Kevin and I are going to Babies R Us on Thursday evening to get all the big stuff we need..like a car seat and stroller, bumper pad for the crib, swing, diaper bag, baby book...all that stuff! haha:) i can't wait until she's here..

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! Kevin and I sure were busy! On Christmas Eve we spent the day at my parents house. Kevin helped my dad do some stuff outside and I helped my mom cook and get the house all ready! Kevin even gave me one of my Christmas gifts early! haha:) he got me an AMAZING video camera! He gave it to me early because he figured I would want to start video taping on Christmas Eve...with family coming and all! I'm so excited because I really wanted one with Rylei's birthday coming very soon! Less than 6 weeks to go everyone! Boy am I ready! Anyway, on Christmas day we went to Kevin's Aunt Jean and Uncle Harold's house for noontime dinner. It was a lot of fun! His aunt Mary and Jim were there, along with his mom and his cousin Matt with his little girl, Tory. She is cute as a button! Kevin's dad didn't come because Judy said he was piddling around outside and didn't get ready in time! haha:) cracks me up!! If you know Joe you know what she's talking about:) haha! We left there around 2 and went to my aunt Nancy and Uncle Harold's for the Fisher side Christmas celebration. We had alot of fun there too! It was really good to see everyone! Anyway, we left around 6:45pm and went back to my parents house to do our Christmas with Kindra, John, Rhett, Emma, Cole, & Naya. It was awesome! We laughed and laughed and laughed! And of course I got it all on my new video camera! it was great! lol:) Christmas isn't over for us yet though! Kristie, Joey, & Kaylyn are coming in town on the 31st, and Holly, Mike, & Aedan are coming on Jan. 1! We are so excited to see them! I can't believe my baby shower is next Saturday! That is partially the reason they waited to come into town so late! anyway, I hope everyone's Christmas was as joyful as ours:) And always remember the reason for the season:)

It's almost Christmas everyone! YAY! I love this time of year! Although, I'm feeling a little out of room and uncomfortable! haha:)We don't have any traveling plans for Christmas. We are having Christmas Eve at my parent's house...they always have a big thing for the family. I think Judy and Joe, Kevin's parents, will be coming. Then on Christmas day I'm sure we will go over to Kev's mom and dad's at some point in the morning, then go the my Aunt Nancy's house at two. Then around 4 we are heading to my mom's and dad's for the eveing:) I don't know if we will have a white Christmas or not..we may have some light snow though! We had quite the ice storm a couple days ago and Kevin had to drive me to work! he complained..but deep down I know he doesn't mind. I just don't want to risk a fall in the parking lot here..especially since we have to park so far away..and I trust Kev's driving in ice WAY better than my own! haha! Which may surprise some of you:) I went to the doctor again yesterday! I only have one more appointment in two weeks and then I go every week for the last 4 until she is born! I can't believe how quick these last couple months have gone! thanks the lord is all I can say! haha:) dr. drake did inform me that should I go into labor in the next two weeks, he will be in town! i was like...Thank goodness! haha! although i don't expect to go into labor, but you never know! It happens more often than you think. As much as I would like to have my body to myself again, I hope she stays in and cooks a little while longer!

Hello all! I just wanted to update you on my latest doctor's visit! When I went in the doctor he was shocked to see that I lost a pound. (Really I had lost about 3 but the nurse was generous and let me factor in my tennis shoe weight so he wouldn't be too concerned haha!) I told him it's because he told me to watch my fluids so I drank only water, juice, and milk! haha...he laughed at me and told me that I misunderstood! I was supposed to watch drinking as many fluids period! haha! He said I should try freezing my juice and then eating it to avoid drinking so many fluids! Apparently he thinks I'm retaining it! But I'm not swollen at all so I don't know! It's confusing! He said that I CANNOT lose weight right now though, which I understand! So I've gained around 16 lbs so far and 8 more weeks to go! Now I have 2 "two-week" appointments and then I start going every week until she arrives! We are getting SO excited. I'm terrified beyond words, but excited! Its hard to believe in just a few short weeks we will have a new little baby around! It will be the "three of us" now:) I couldn't be happier!
